Tuesday Today we went to the dairy farm. It was so interesting to see how everything is ran and how organized they were. There mission is to produce and sell milk. They are funded by how much milk is produced. They receive more money if the milk has more fat. They showed us how they milk the cows. I was so surprised at how many they could milk at once! The cows have a special collar that indicate if they are pregnant and how much food they are allowed to eat. Thursday Today we had our picnic at the park. I didn't realize that we had some really good cooks in the class! Everything was really good and so fresh! Great way to end the quarter!
